There are all sorts of different Games Designers. I’m not sure yet what kind of Games Designer I want to do. I know I want do Games Designer and this is what I will be Researching to find out witch wan sounds the best to me and the most interesting.
Responsibilities:
- Implement game mechanisms using proprietary game engine and scripting tools
- Assist level designers to create new and exciting content that will highlight all characters’ features
- Create and maintain design documentation
- Ensure smooth and clear communication both within the design team as well as with external partners
- Respond and implement feedback from reviews and playtests
Requirements:
- 2 year + console development experience, with at least 1 shipped project
- Strong scripting experience
- Strong experience with game editors (proprietary or commercial)
- Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
