Week 1:
On the first week, we were told that we will be making a level that will be themed sci-fi, fantasy or post-apocalyptic. This will be done by Christmas.
I also was told to get my blog ready to work on it so it would be easy to access everything. Also, the layout works well also help to see where everything is and where stuff will be going. This how I got it ready I Made a Project one page in that I have Project Rationale page. In Project Rationale, I have What Is An Environment Artist? page. Then I have a Research page and under Research I have Inspirational Game Levels page, Level Design Types page, and Fantasy Assets List page. I also made a Project Management page, Design page, and Reflection Journal page. In the Project one page I also made a Final Major Project page. I Find this is important to have this as it helps you to know where everything is.
After getting my blog ready to work on I was informed that we will need to do some research on an environment artist to help learn what we will be doing for the next few months and to find out what an environment artist job is in the game development process. When I started on What Is An Environment Artist? I typed about what Environment Artist dose in a basic summary. Then I moved on to explain in more detail what one is and what one does I found out it’s made quite a bit of difference if you work for a bigger company as you don’t need to do as much work as they have other people to do it I then go on talk about step by step what an Environment Artist does. I then went on to analyzed some block outs and what the mean and what the player could do in it. Finally, I looked at some jobs available for an Environment Artist so I could find out what I need to become one and the skills needed. I found it fun learning about the different jobs and things that are in the game development process. This week was not that hard as we were just starting off with some simple research and getting ready for the next few weeks, Next Week I will be doing more Blog work typing about Inspirational Game Levels.
Week 2:
This week I was told to do Inspirational Game Levels So I stared tying up what starting Ideas for my themes that are Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Post Apocalyptic. I got two Pictures for each theme and then described them and what ideas and inspiration I got for them. After analyzing all the pictures for each theme I deiced on what I would be doing in unreal. I found it difficult to decide on what unreal idea to do as I had so many after talking to friends I decided on going with something simple but still changeling by adding in interesting rooms with many differences. I enjoyed coming up with all these different ideas for different game themes and types.
Next week I will be We will be doing some kind of research.
Week 3:
At the start of the third week, I was told to researching the difference between these level types, Alley, Maze, Hub, Island,Path. The reasoning behind this is that it would help us when we go to designing our levels.
This week I also had to make my assets list for my game environment I chose, And I chose to do fantasy so that is what I based my asset list on.
I was also tasked to type out what will be in each room and the layout of my level.
I thought it would be a good idea to make a mood board with all my assets on, to help me gain some inspiration and ideas. For what my level could look like.
Next week I will finalize and finishing my level idea.
Week 4:
At the start of this week was tasked to finalize are level ideas by drawing on paper in rough Then going Photoshop to make a finalized Map and how to get throw the level and what they can do in the level.
Also this week I needed to draw up some assets from my assets list I made last week to guide me when it came to making the assets.
Next week I will be continuing my assets designs and blueprints.
Week 5:
On Week 5 I made sure that all my designing of my assets was done and blueprints so I could move on to making are assets in 3ds Max.
I also started to block out our levels in Unreal Engine only using basic shapes.

Next week I will be continuing my block out.
Week 6:
This week I made sure that all my block out with basic shapes was done. And then add in lighting to my block out to see that it would look and work right when I add in my final assets.
Next week I did not have the time this week do my assets in 3ds Max. so will be doing that next week.
Week 7:
In week 7 I started making my asset in 3ds max for my unreal level. It was I bit hard coming back to 3ds Max, Make my assets and trying to recall the tools and skills learned from last year but after a few practice models, I got the hang of it again.

Next week sadly As I did not finish making all my assets in 3ds max will have to do them after I learn how to unwrap.
Week 9:
This week on Monday I learned how to unwrap in 3ds max by making a barrel and unwrapping, After that, I then will go on to unwrapping the assets that I made, So I will spend the rest of the week Making the assets I did not finish from last week.
Next week I will Start Unwrapping the assets I made.

I will unwrap all my assets and add the textures I want to them this week.
And start Inputting theme into my unreal environment. To make sure they look good and work they I want them to with my lighting.
Next, I will be finishing my unreal environment and make sure I have not missed anything I want to do in the time I have.
Week 11:
in the final week, I have made and finished my level to a reputational quality, (in my opinion) and all I have left to do this week is clean up my blog, and finish my evaluation.
